B-29A #44-61535 was assigned to the 28th Bombardment Squadron and deployed to Kadena Air Force Base in Japan during the Korean War. The aircraft wore the nose-art titled "Raz'n Hell" and flew over 50 combat missions. After the war, the airframe was retired to the NAWS China Lake for use as a test target. In 1980, it was recovered and moved to its present home at the Air Force Museum based at Castle Air Force Base in Atwater, California.
