The German Air Force established its first transport wing in Erding, Bavaria, back in 1957. To celebrate its 60th anniversary, Air Transport Wing 61 created a special livery. This C-160, which is to be rolled-out in early May, will sport a special Retro design, reminiscent of the early years of the type's services in the 1960s. The aircraft will have its big public appearance as part of the annual "Bundeswehr Day" at Penzing Air Force Base on June 10th.
