The Bristol F.2 fighter was a British two-seat bi-plane fighter and reconnaissance aircraft designed by Frank Barnwell, which took its first flight in September 1916 and was in production well into the late 1920s. It served during WWI where it proved to be an agile and solid aircraft.

Oxford's second release sees it as flown by No. 2 Squadron RAF in the mid-war period of the 1920s. The Squadron was founded in 1912, when it was one of the first three squadrons of the new Royal Flying Corps, which in turn merged into the newly formed RAF in 1918.

This model is decorated in all over silver with red and white banding round the fuselage and comes with a cream cockpit interior and wood effect wing struts. The wheel hubs are red while the wheel struts, fuselage struts, skid assembly and control horn are all satin black.
