The Black Knights transitioned to the Osprey in 2009. The unit has a long tradition of supporting humanitarian missions worldwide. The latest being its deployment to Liberia in October 2014 to provide logistical support for the battle against the Ebola outbreak in Africa.

Please note: Unlike prior releases in this series, this particular model does not include a set of "folded" rotor blades for displaying the model in the stowed configuration. The wing and engine nacelles do still rotate, but sadly the packaging has empty slots where the folded blades would usually be found and it appears the manufacturer simply chose not to produce them for this model.
