The former Fighter Wing 74, renamed Tactical Air Force Wing 74 in October 2013, inherited the affiliation to the NATO Tigers following the disbandment of Fighter-Bomber Wing 32. The "Bavarian Tigers" first participated in the annual Tiger Meets in June 2013.
